Integrating Fox Shocks into this kit helps to improve the ride quality and control on a lifted vehicle. Installing the EW 2-inch lift kit allows you to run a larger wheel and tire without sacrificing the wheel wells or fenders. We recommend 33″ maximum tire size on 2.5 (60mm) of lift. The race-developed, high-flow damping piston, matched with application-specific valving, ensures a predictable ride quality even in the roughest conditions. Other Shock Option: Bilstein Shocks EW Panhard Bars (Optional) The EW Panhard Bar utilizes a double adjuster, eliminating the need to remove the arm each time to adjust the bar during alignment—a significant benefit over single-adjuster designs. It comes equipped with OEM bushings and is mandrel bent in the same fashion as OE. Important DisclaimersWhen lifting the W463 chassis and installing bigger tires: – The speedometer will be off by 5-8 MPH depending on the tire size. – You may lose the use of your dynamic cruise control due to the front camera sensor being out of range. In some cases, a Mercedes dealership can recalibrate the front camera to work again, depending on the tire size.
