Description Deschampsia cespitosa ‘Goldtau’ Tufted Hair Grass. A dense, tussock-forming, evergreen grass of compact habit which has rigid, linear, rough, mid-green leaves.. From June to August silvery, reddish-brown flower spikes which age to golden yellow are borne. Grow in dry to damp, neutral to acid soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 75cm.
